Petaluma was established in 1976 with a vision to produce ultra-premium wines by selecting the best sites within a particular region suited to a specific variety.

From there, the concept of Petaluma's 'Distinguished Vineyards' was created. With the vineyards in place, the next step is achieving the best possible expression from each given site. And then Petaluma can lay claim to producing ultra-premium wines.
