The Wolf Blass Visitor Centre is a state of the art facility and a Barossa land mark that stands as a testament to Australian winemaking excellence and the vision of our founder, Wolf Blass AM

Wolf Blass was established in the Barossa Valley in 1966 and has grown from a humble tin shed to become one of the world’s most successful and awarded wine brands. The essence of Wolf Blass wines is exemplified through the passion of its custodians, past and present as they continuously strive to produce wines of quality, character and consistency.
The very first Wolf Blass wine was the Yellow Label Cabernet Shiraz made in 1966 and this year marks the celebration of 45 years of Wolf Blass winemaking. Black Label was Wolf Blass’ first ultra premium wine made on the Bilyara estate and since that first 1973 vintage, Black Label has cultivated an unprecedented reputation on the world wine stage as a wine of distinction and a benchmark of the inimitable Wolf Blass style. The Black Label principle is brilliantly simple: each vintage, craft the best red blended wine from South Australian vineyards. It is not about individual regions, vineyards or varieties but a fusion of them all to create a wine that is far greater than the sum of its parts. The iconic style is central to the wine’s philosophy and a testament to its success.

Just metres from where our founder Wolfgang Blass AM set up his original winery, you’ll find the Wolf Blass Visitor Centre – a Barossa landmark of winemaking excellence.
Architecturally designed by Drew Dowie, our Visitor Centre is a beautiful blend of indoor and outdoor spaces that enhances the memorable experience of tasting world-class Wolf Blass wines. Whether it is a unique experience in our tasting room, discovering the fine art of blending an award-winning Black Label wine, an intimate dinner to a grand banquet, a romantic wedding or a full day business meeting, our Visitor Centre will provide you with a memorable experience.
